Lucite and Brass Lamps

Stunning pair of 1970s lucite and brass table lamps, attributed to Charles Hollis Jones.

Jones pioneered the use of Acrylic and Lucite in furniture design during the ‘60s and ‘70s.

These lamps were purchased from a prop sale at Leavesden Studios and have been fully restored by us.

The lamps were in need of a good clean up and re-polish. We did a ground up restoration including a complete rewire and replacement of broken/ damaged bulb holders.

We replaced the old cord with new black cloth covered 3 core with inline switch.

The lucite was cleaned and polished to remove as much of the wear and tear their 50+ years had acquired.

The lamps still have some signs of age whilst looking amazing, add some mid century style to your interior.

These will look equally fantastic as bedside lights or on side tables in your living room.

They have been professionally rewired and PAT tested to current UK standards.
